SLEATER-KINNEY

Back when I was an undergraduate at UW-Madison, a friend in the film club I was in told me about Sleater-Kinney. It proved to be a revelation. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Sleater-Kinney possessed a raw power with their jangling guitars and ferocious drumming. I was hooked.
