This week The Driftless Area Review will be showcasing three poetry selections from Coach House Press. In addition to book reviews, there will be interviews, a selection of excerpts, and an essay on the “look & feel” of the books themselves.

COACH HOUSE WEEK: An Introduction

Coach House Books is a Canadian publisher focusing on poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and drama. The poets have created works where:

Matthew Tierney confronts rationalism and its discontents.

Tess Liem challenges form and the exclusionary practices of the Western literary canon while at the same time exploring personal identity.

Nasser Hussain manipulates language in such a way to reinvent the practice of reading.
